Pearl Jam have released their new single Dance Of The Clairvoyants.

It’s the first taste of material from the band’s upcoming studio album Gigaton, which will be released on March 27 through Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records.

Bassist Jeff Ament says: "I can’t tell you how proud I am about this group of songs. As you know, we took our time and that benefited us taking more chances.

"Dance Of The Clairvoyants was a perfect storm of experimentation and real collaboration, mixing up the instrumentation and building a great song, and Ed writing some of my favourute words yet, around Matt’s killer drum pattern.

"Did I mention Mike’s insane guitar part and that Stone is playing bass on this one?  We’ve opened some new doors creatively and that’s exciting."

The follow-up to 2013’s Lightning Bolt was revealed last week after a global interactive poster campaign for the record, with the final tracklist unveiled earlier this week.

Guitarist Mike McCready said: "Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption.

“Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

Pearl Jam have already announced a European tour for this summer, including a headline spot at the prestigious Hyde Park British Summer Time event in London in July, and also recently confirmed a series of US dates for the spring.
