Steve Rothery Band add 2 UK shows

Marillion guitarist Steve Rothery has confirmed his solo band’s final two shows for this year.

They’ll play the Montgomery Hall, Wath, Rotherham on March 5, then at The Junction, Cambridge, the following night.

The Ghosts And Garden Parties concerts include material from his 2014 solo debut The Ghosts Of Pripyat plus Marillion’s 1985 classic Misplaced Childhood, and more.

Rothery recently said: “If you haven’t seen the band yet, there are a lot of videos appearing on YouTube to give you the feel of how cool these gigs have been. Having the splendid Martin Jakubski on vocals really has been so much fun.”

The Steve Rothery Band also appear at Progresja Music Zone in Warsaw, Poland, tonight (February 15). The Rotherham and Cambridge shows are on sale now. Marillion commence a world tour in April, with details of their 18th album expected in the coming weeks.
