Dream Theater Guest On Tonight's Prog Magazine Show

If you haven’t heard Dream Theater’s new double-album, rock opera opus The Astonishing then you’re in for a treat.

James LaBrie, John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess join Philip Wilding in the studio to discuss the new album, and of course, Philip will be playing plenty of music from the new album too. They’ll also be chatting about how the band intend toy play the entire two hours of music in their forthcoming European tour when they’ve playing the whole album, from start to finish.

As well as a hefty chunk of brand new Dream Theater opus, there’s also music from old favourites such as Yes, The Enid and Marillion., as well as younger artists such as Field Music, Mantra Vega, Lion Shepherd, The Tea Club, and Christina booth, winner of Woman Of The Year in the Prog Readers’ Poll.

You can hear the new Prog Magazine Show between 9-11pm every Wednesday evening. or you can catch up On Demand. You can listen via the TeamRock app for iPhone and Android, or via the radio player you’ll find at the bottom of the Prog website.

And, you can hear last week’s show with Nick Beggs right here.

Happy listening…
