The first clip from Slipknot percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan’s movie Officer Downe has been released.

The clip – which can be viewed here – shows the title character strapping on his weapons ahead of a shift. Officer Downe is based on the Man Of Action comic books and is Crahan’s directorial debut.

Sons Of Anarchy’s Kim Coates plays the lead role, that of an LA cop who is killed in the line of duty but repeatedly resurrected and sent back to work.

Officer Downe also stars Tyler Ross, Lauren Velez, Reno Wilson and Bruno Gunn. The screenplay was penned by Man Of Action writer Joe Casey.

It was given its premiere last weekend at Arclight Cinemas in Culver City, California, as part of the LA Film Festival.

Slipknot have had to postpone their upcoming North American tour with Marilyn Manson after Corey Taylor underwent spinal surgery this week.
