James Hetfield and Sammy Hagar have announced the lineup for this year’s Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit show.

Metallica frontman Hetfield and former Van Halen singer Hagar will be joined by Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee, Chickenfoot star Joe Satriani, John Mayer, Pat Monahan and Melissa Etheridge for the event at the Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15.

It’s the third such show, which raises funds for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

Last year’s event featured actor and comedian Adam Sandler as well as performances from Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell.

Tickets will go on sale at 10am on April 1 (Friday) April 1 via LiveNation.
