Sleeping With Sirens bassist to miss Euro tour

Sleeping With Sirens bassist Justin Hills has announced he’ll miss the band’s upcoming European tour.

The group will kick off the 13-day trek in Amsterdam on February 19 without Hills, who reports he’s taking a step back to deal with family issues. Touring guitarist and keyboard player Alex Howard will replace him in the lineup.

Hills says: “Due to personal/family matters, I unfortunately won’t be able to make it to this next tour in the UK and Europe. It’s really important for me to be home with my family at this time.

“I hope all of you can understand that I’m needed here right now. I will be back on the road with the boys after this tour and I can’t wait for you guys to hear what we have in store the rest of the year.”

Sleeping With Sirens have also issued a live acoustic video for their track Gold. It’s lifted from their upcoming album Live And Unplugged, with the band reporting that further details will be revealed in the coming days.

They launched fourth studio record Madness last year via Epitaph.
