PIL announce UK and Euro tour

Public Image Limited are setting off on a European tour in May, which includes 11 UK dates.

Fronted by former Sex Pistol John Lydon, the four-piece are kickstarting the 22-date run in Valencia Noize Club, Spain, on May 6, and wrapping up at Sheffield’s O2 Academy, UK, on June 7.

Last year the band released What The World Needs Now, the follow-up to 2012’s This is PiL – which was their first studio effort in 20 years after they went on hiatus in 1993.

The band released a video for their track Bettie Page last year, and also performed Double Trouble on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from 9am on January 15, followed by general sale on January 18 via the band’s website.
