Moreland & Arbuckle have confirmed the launch of their album Promised Land Or Bust on May 6 via Alligator Records.
It’s their debut with the label, who say the Kansas blues trio have applied “musical muscle and fifth-gear urgency” to the work.
Guitarist Aaron Moreland says: “The album is consciously traditional – but still has the signature drive and power that we’ve crafted over the past 13 years.”
Vocalist and harpist Dustin Arbuckle adds: “We continue to evolve outside the box we started in. But the bedrock – the blues – is always there.”
The band will announce tour dates in the US, Europe and elsewhere in due course. Promised Land Or Bust is available for pre-order now in CD and vinyl formats.

Not only is one-time online news editor Martin an established rock journalist and drummer, but he’s also penned several books on music history, including SAHB Story: The Tale of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, a band he once managed, and the best-selling Apollo Memories about the history of the legendary and infamous Glasgow Apollo. Martin has written for Classic Rock and Prog and at one time had written more articles for Louder than anyone else (we think he's second now). He’s appeared on TV and when not delving intro all things music, can be found travelling along the UK’s vast canal network.
