Landscapes detail Modern Earth

Landscapes have released the video for their track Neighbourhood through TeamRock.

It’s taken from the Somerset band’s upcoming second album Modern Earth, released on April 8 via Pure Noise Records. It’s the follow-up to 2012 debut Life gone Wrong.

Modern Earth was recorded and engineered at Panda Studios in Fremont, California, with producer Sam Pura who has also worked with Basement and The Story So Far. It was mixed and mastered by Neil Kennedy at Ranch Production House in Southampton.

Vocalist Shaun Milton says: “If Life Gone Wrong’s concept was about being in that moment as it all falls around you, Modern Earth is a continuation of that story, an expansion explaining the disease of the mind, sculpting, adjusting and accepting those circumstances as it suffocates you powerless.

“Recording in California was a very different experience from what we were used to but we learned a lot from our time out there and with our musical influence broadened, we can’t wait to convey that in front of an audience soon.”

Modern Earth can be pre-ordered now.
