A new documentary charting the last three years of Ozzy Osbourne’s life will shown on the BBC and on the BBC iPlayer.

The 60-minute film titled Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home was recorded between 2022 -2025 and was due to be broadcast back in August. However, the BBC decided to postpone the documentary after Ozzy passed away on July 22.

It'll now be shown on BBC One and via the BBC iPlayer on Thursday, October 2 from 9pm BST, with the film following Ozzy and Sharon as they return to the UK after living in Los Angeles for 25 years. It'll also show Ozzy's preparations for his poignant Back To The Beginning show at Villa Park, Birmingham.

Coming Home was initially commissioned as a series but evolved into a one-hour documentary as Ozzy battled health problems.

In 2019, the singer suffered a fall at home that aggravated injuries sustained in a 2003 accident, an incident which resulted in The Prince Of Darkness cancelling that year's touring plans. In 2020 Ozzy revealed he'd been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
