Good Charlotte have released a lyric video for their track 40 Oz. Dream.

It’s the first single to be lifted from the pop punk band’s upcoming album Youth Authority, due for release on July 15 via Benji and Joel Madden’s own label MDDN. The video was directed by their brother Josh.

Benji Madden tells Rolling Stone: “For us 40 Oz. Dream was the perfect song to kick off our new album. It’s got all the sarcasm and humour we’ve always loved, and lots of affection for the past and present.

“As a band that formed in 1996, it’s a fun moment to be welcomed back so warmly. We’re very happy to have found our place in 2016.”

Good Charlotte have a number of tour dates set for 2016, including a run on the Vans Warped Tour.
