"Is it crazy? It is crazy. And I'm a crazy ****ing guy. Let's go!" An insane looking new event will mix a metal concert with bare knuckle fighting - with the frontman of deathcore heavyweights Slaughter To Prevail set to take part in both

Slaughter To Prevail will host a special contact sport crossover event this May. Dubbed Blood4Blood, the event is set to feature four bands and four bare-knuckle fights at the Ocean Center, Daytona Beach on May 6 - right before major US festival Welcome To Rockville kicks off its 15th anniversary celebration that weekend.

Hosted by US festival promoter Danny Wimmer Presents (Welcome To Rockville, Aftershock, Sonic Temple etc.), in partnership with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the Blood4Blood event is the first of its kind.

The event was created by contact sports enthusiast Alex Terrible, who will also compere the event, as well as performing with Slaughter To Prevail and participating in one of the other fights against Cameron Delano, a US fighter and professional bull rider.

“It is a big honour for me to finally bring Blood4Blood to life,” Terrible released in a statement.

“From the beginning, I wanted to create something that shows who I really am. Fighting and heavy music have always been my world, my passion, my lifestyle. To have the first Blood4Blood hosted by the biggest bare-knuckle promotion in the world and to work with the biggest live promoter in North America to build this event with me means a lot. We have four real fights and four powerful bands, Black Label Society, Crowbar, Malevolence and Slaughter to Prevail. I will step into the ring and on the stage. I give everything. This is my heart. This is Blood4Blood.”

The undercard fights are still yet to be announced, but the event has already confirmed the four bands playing that night. STP will be joined by Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, sludge metal heroes Crowbar and rising UK metalcore stars Malevolence.

Terrible made his debut as a bare-knuckle boxer in January 2025, winning his first fight against Mukhamedkhan Ospanov. In December that year, he first hinted at the Blood4Blood idea in a social media post.

"In this event, bands [are] playing fucking heavy metal music and fighters [are] fucking bare knuckle fighting. That’s fucking crazy!” he enthused.

"Is it crazy? It is crazy. And I'm a crazy fucking guy. Let's go!"

Slaughter To Prevail will embark on a massive North American tour later this month, starting in Nashville, Tennessee on March 21. The band are also due to play DWP festivals Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple in May, before heading over to Europe where they will headline a festival in the UK for the first time at Bloodstock.

Tickets for the Blood4Blood are on-sale Friday at 10am ET.

Blood4Blood partner presale begins tomorrow at 11am CT / 5pm GMT. Use the exclusive pre-sale code HAMMER for exclusive pre-sale access via Ticketmaster.
