Mortiis releases graphic new video for Geisteskrank

Mortiis wrapped up in chains

Mortiis is premiering his new video for Geisteskrank exclusively with Metal Hammer.

New song Geisteskrank isn’t available on Mortiis’ new album The Great Deceiver, but is instead taken from the soundtrack of a new series of films from Reinert Kiil.

“The video unpleasantness continues,” says Mortiis. “A little while back, Norwegian horror director Reinert Kiil started his short film trilogy based on his own ugly descent into depravity and violence. Never ones to turn our backs to a good cause, we leaped at the opportunity to provide the soundtrack to what is essentially a good old bashing. Vardøger is the first part of this trilogy.”

Mortiis is touring the UK at the following dates:

May 23: Cluny, Newcastle
May 24: Audio, Glasgow
May 25: Ruby, Manchester
May 26: O2 Institute, Birmingham
May 27: Haunt, Brighton
May 28: Garage, London
May 29: Fleece, Bristol
