Death Spells’ debut album Nothing Above, Nothing Below will be released on July 29 via Vagrant Records.

The electronic noise project features former My Chemical Romance men Frank Iero and James Dewees.

Iero says: “This Death Spells record has been something I’ve wanted for four years.

“The initial band started back in 2012 in an apartment in North Hollywood, California, and because life sometimes gets in the way it has taken a back seat to other projects James and I have been working on.

“But I knew I could not go any further until these songs were revealed, and now Death Spells’ time has finally come.”

The duo will tour the UK in August, before hitting Moscow’s Volta Club in Russia and New York’s Bowery Electric in support of the release.

Iero will appear at Riot Fest in Denver and Chicago with his other act, Frank Iero And The Cellabration in September. He’ll also trek Australia under the banner Frank Iero And The Patience to promote his 2014 debut album Stomachaches.
