Oceans Of Slumber premiere new track Devout

Texan progressive metallers Oceans Of Slumber are premiering new song Devout exclusively with Metal Hammer.

“By now most of you are associating us with heavy, dark, and brooding metal,” says drummer Dobber. “That’s just one side of this coin. Devout displays our comfort and grace with copious amounts of speed, dexterity, and shifting musical styles that mirror the inner disdain and self destruction/self loathing the lyrics preach. We hope you enjoy it.”

Oceans Of Slumber are heading out across the UK and Europe with My Dying Bride in March/April.

“To have the opportunity to support our new record and share the stage every night with such an amazing and genre defining band like My Dying Bride is beyond our expectations. So ‘feel the misery’, and get yourselves ready for our brand of bayou tinged darkened metal!”

Oceans Slumber join My Dying Bride at the following dates:

March 31: Islington Assembly Hall, London, UK
April 1: Neushoorn, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands
April 2: Gruenspan, Hamburg, Germany
April 3: Garage, Saarbruecken, Germany
April 5: Z7, Pratteln, Switzerland
April 6: Nouveau Casino, Paris, France
April 7: 013, Tilburg, The Netherlands
April 8: Trix, Antwerp, Belgium
April 9: Turock, Essen, Germany
April 10: Tivoli Pandora, Utrecht, The Netherlands

Oceans Of Slumber’s new album Winter is available for pre-order now, via Century Media.
