Metallica go mono in live Halo On Fire video

Metallica

Metallica have released a black and white video for their track Halo On Fire.

It was filmed at the band’s May 14 show at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium in New Jersey – part of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo’s North American WorldWired tour.

Announcing their first live dates in the US and Canada since 2009, the band said: “It certainly has been way too long and we are beyond excited to be visiting all of our friends in North America.

“As we introduced for the Mexico City shows, and you seemed to dig it, every ticket purchased includes your choice of a standard physical or standard digital copy of Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.”

Metallica will resume their live commitments in support of 10th studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct on May 19, when they play at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium. They’ll then head to Europe in September and have dates planned deep into 2018.
