Black Label Society, Napalm Death and Wolf for Bloodstock 2015

It’s already February and festival season is fast approaching, but Bloodstock aren’t ready for you yet – they’ve got even more bands to announce. Hitting up the main stage on Sunday are the very special guests Black Label Society!

Speaking about BLS’s upcoming slaughter in a field, heavy metal icon and rifflord Zakk Wydle says: “We’re looking forward to seeing the mighty UK Chapter of the all-mighty Black Label when we get rolling at the Bloodstock festival in August!”

Joining the main stage ranks are Brummy grindcore heroes Napalm Death in a UK exclusive. Having just released the beautifully destructive new album Apex Predator - Easy Meat, we are beyond excited for this one. Frontman Barney Greenway says of their upcoming slot: “Playing at Bloodstock is literally like stepping out of our front doors to climb onstage, so we’ll be projecting a great big wall of noise from Birmingham to Catton Park! We personally know most of the staff and crew, so we look forward to watching them flog themselves to death, while we stand idly by and take in the sights, smells, and sounds of this friendly old fest. Grind!”

But it’s not all screamy screamy metal as the Swedish straight-up heavy metallers Wolf are set for main stage action, stating “The Wolves are back and we can’t wait to play our favourite festival again! Bloodstock, let it be loud!”

These three join the previously announced Trivium, Sabaton, Within Temptation, Opeth, Rob Zombie, Cannibal Corpse, Ihsahn and more. Full line-up below.

Bloodstock is held at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 6th-9th August 2015. Get your tickets here.
