Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has streamed his solo cover of soul classic Stay With Me Baby.

It was recorded for the soundtrack of drama series Vinyl, produced by Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese.

Cornell says: “I was very honoured to be asked to record a version for Vinyl. I get to pay tribute to Terry Reid, whose version has been a favourite of mine for many years, and to be included on a great soundtrack with an amazing group of artists.”

The first series of Vinyl concluded on HBO over the weekend. Soundtrack album Vinyl: Music From The HBO Original Series - The Essentials: Best of Season 1 was released last week.
