Monte Connor is the former A&R chief of the US division of Roadrunner Records. Since September 2012 he has headed Nuclear Blast Entertainment, based in New York. Among the bands he's signed are Biohazard, Coal Chamber, DevilDriver, Exhorder, Glassjaw, Gojira, Life Of Agony, Machine Head, Murderdolls, Nailbomb, Obituary, Porcupine Tree, Sepultura, Slipknot, Soulfly, Spineshank, 36 Crazyfists, Type O Negative and Wednesday 13. He also writes for Metal Mania and Rock Hard magazine, and blogs on Facebook.
