Rick Wakeman wins Live Event at the 2014 Progressive Music Awards

The 2018 Progressive Music Awards are just two days away now, so we continue our look back at past awards nights with Rick Wakeman, in usual tongue-in-cheek form as he accepted the Live Event (as it was back then) for his 40th anniversary tour of Journey To The Centre Of The Earth.

This year's awards take place next Thursday in an event hosted by top comedian and prog fan Al Murray and at which Rick's old Yes cohort, guitarist Steve Howe will be honoured as this year's Prog God.
