Kamelot ink deal for 11th album

US symphonic metal outfit Kamelot have signed a deal with Napalm Records for their upcoming 11th album, they’ve confirmed.

They entered the studio to begin work on the follow-up to 2012’s Silverthorn last year. Now they’ll launch their as-yet-untiled next record via their new label in April or May.

Guitarist Thomas Youngblood says: “We are extremely excited about having a growing and hungry independent label like Napalm with the power of major distribution that we will get with Universal and ADA Warner.”

The band have lined up three UK and Ireland dates in March which includes an appearance at the HRH and Metal Hammer-sponsored Hammerfest VII in Wales. They’ll then embark on a North American tour, kicking off in Baltimore on April 27.

UK and Ireland tour dates

Mar 12 Dublin The Button Factory

Mar 13: Pwllheli Hammer fest VII
