Watch this guy nail a bass solo on just one string

It’s become commonplace for bassists to use more and more strings lately – especially in the tech-metal world – but one man is going against the trend and proving less is more.

The YouTuber known as Davie504 is no stranger to showing off his bass skills, if you take a look at his channel you see loads of slap bass videos, funk jams and even John Cena meets bass.

Now he has taken on the challenge posed by one of his fans to rip a solo using just one string. That’s right, one. And to be honest, he kills it. We’ve seen our fair share of bass solos over the years but this rules, so big props to you Davie number five hundred and four!
