We love Periphery and we love pretty much everything Adult Swim have ever created, so it makes sense that we’re loving Misha Mansoor’s cover of a song from Rick & Morty.
Yes, you read that correctly. Periphery’s guitar-wielding tech-head Misha Mansoor has joined forces with his brother Axel Mansoor for this very special cover of Get Schwifty from Rick & Morty.
Taken from the episode title of the same name, Get Schwifty aired last year as part of season two and the original song (with accompanying music video) has already garnered over 1.5 million plays on YouTube. At the time of writing Misha and his brother’s version has less than 10,000 plays, but surely that will all change.
Check it out.
