Dave Steinfeld has been writing professionally since 1999. Since that time, he has contributed to AOL Music, The Bluegrass Situation, Blurt, BUST, Classics Du Jour, Cuepoint, Curve, Essence, FLOOD, Long Live Vinyl, No Depression, The Rock & Roll Globe and all the major radio networks. His first piece for Classic Rock, on The Pretenders, ran in early 2021. Dave has been on the voting body of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 2016. He grew up in Connecticut and is currently based in New York City.
