Alice Cooper and other stars appeared onstage with Foo Fighters last night at the Forum in Los Angeles. The show, which was announced on Thursday, was billed as “An Evening With Foo Fighters in the Round”, and raised money for three music-related charities.
Organised to benefit the Rock School Scholarship Fund, MusiCares and Sweet Relief, the show was also planned as a 46th birthday celebration for Dave Grohl. Cooper joined the Foo Fighters onstage for the classics I’m Eighteen and School’s Out.
Other guests appearing with the band included David Lee Roth, Trombone Shorty, Joe Walsh, Perry Farrell, Zakk Wylde, Nick Oliveri, Slash, Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D, and Paul Stanley.
Foo Fighters will be bringing their Sonic Highways tour to the UK in May and June. Alice Cooper spoke to Classic Rock late last year after the release of the Live In Wacken DVD.
