What makes a guitarist great? You decide. It could be their riffs, their technical ability, the sheer number of classic solos. Or it could be their absolute refusal to play by those rules. Their legacy, their influence, their tone, their lead parts, their rhythm, the mind-blowing texture they add. The definition of what makes a great guitarist has changed over the years, so we're not going to tell you what we think is important, or how to vote.
