After last week's epic four-day Amazon Prime Day event, the dust has finally settled on the online shopping giant's first major sale of the year.

There were some neat savings on vinyl and CDs, turntables, rock and metal t-shirts and pop-culture collectables – and while the vast majority of discounts have disappeared, there are still a smattering of bargains to be picked up... if you're quick.

I've highlighted 15 of my favourites below, but I have no knowledge how long these prices will stick around for, so if you see something you like, grab it while you can.

We're now into the final day of Amazon Prime Day, but if you're quick, there's still time to get a sweet discount on a fresh pile of rock and metal t-shirts. We've already had a look at some brilliant Sleep Token merch deals, but if your loyalties lie elsewhere, I've got you covered.

Let's kick things off in the US, where you can get this Black Sabbath World Tour 1978 Sketch t-shirt with a 20% discount – down from $24.99 to £19.99.

If you're in the UK and have been enjoying seeing Metallica on the latest leg of their M72 tour and want a throwback t-shirt, then there's 30% off this ...And Justice For All tee, which is down from £20 to just £13.98.

There are loads of cut-price tees on Amazon, but let's focus back in on the US for a bit.

Def Leppard are one of the biggest rock bands on the planet and I can recall going into my local HMV back in 1987 and buying Hysteria on cassette. I also saw them on that tour in Edinburgh, but I'm getting side-tracked by nostalgia! If you want to display your love of that era of the band, then this classic Hysteria t-shirt is down from $29.99 to $23.99.

Prefer your rock a little more classic? Then how about this Led Zeppelin 1975 US tour t-shirt? It's down from $24.99 to $20.79 and it's one of my favourite designs in this list of Prime Day t-shirt discounts.

If you're after something a little more straightforward, then this AC/DC red logo t-shirt should fit the bill – and it's down from $25.99 to $20.79. Meanwhile, Motorhead fans can get their fix with this awesome Snaggletooth design, which has been reduced from $24.99 to £19.99 and it's a bona fide classic look.

Let's take a look at the UK side of things again, and you really can't go wrong with a Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon design. It's down from £24.99 to 18.99 for Prime Day.

We're still getting over the loss of The Prince Of Darkness so if you'd like to pay homage to Ozzy, you can get your hands on a Diary of A Madman tee at Amazon, with the price cut from £24 down to £20.28.

Another classic logo design is on display with this no-nonsense Linkin Park tee, with the price cut from £24.99 to £20.99 making it a must-have for fans of the band.

My final pick goes to the band of the moment: Rush. Geddy and Alex are on tour right now with drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold – and the four of them are delivering spectacular shows. They won't be in the UK until next year, but while we wait, you can relive the good old days with this America 1977 Tour t-shirt – down from £24.99 to £20.99.

I’ll be totally honest with you, at least 25% of the clothes I own are Sleep Token-related. I went slightly nuts/bankrupt at the merch table during their late-2024 Take Me Back To Eden tour, last year at Download, and I even bought an ST tee at Primark last month, because that’s a thing now.

So, I was positively giddy when an email from Sleep Token hit my inbox announcing ‘Behold, Prime Day is here’. Now, Sleep Token aren't shy about merch drops (can we have a new tour instead please, lads?), but this sale is actually really decent: for a limited time you can save 15% off a range of Sleep Token clothing and merch for a limited time. I’ve also tracked down a 15% Amazon saving on Even In Arcadia double vinyl and a small discount on Sundowning on CD.

By ‘limited time’ I’m referring to the fact Prime Day is scheduled to end tomorrow (Friday 26 June) and currently there's no telling if these deals will stick around after this point.

I’ve been covering the Prime Day Music deals for a while now, but nothing brings me more joy than helping people save money on clobber relating to their (and my) favourite bands. And this one’s a doozy, so here goes.

The main thrust of the sale is clothing from Vessel and Co’s visually awesome Take Me Back To Eden era, featuring album art on everything from t-shirts and tanks, to hoodies and this rad iPhone case. You’ve got the characters from Granite, Rain and the album's title track to choose from. There’s also a couple of colourways for a cool This Place Will Become Your Tomb sigil design that is in my basket right now.

Elsewhere on the sale page, there’s some merch that I’ve not seen before - and isn’t actually on sale, dangit - but well worth checking out. In particular I love this stainless steel 30oz water bottle featuring the Sleep Token logo in Arcadia pink. There’s also a range of basic tees and hoods featuring the Sleep Token logo solo. There’s something for everyone here, and believe me when I say these prices are a fraction of what you’d pay at a show.

Get ‘em while they’re hot. Or as Sleep Token would say: Act with haste, nothing lasts forever.

If you love metal and classic rock and love to collect things, then you need to check out the Funko Pop! range of vinyl figures.

There are a ridiculous amount of these pint-sized creations to discover, but to help steer you on your way, I've picked out a selection of some of my favourites that are on sale in both the US and UK this Prime Day.

One Funko Pop! Rocks legend that's on sale in the UK right now is AC/DC icon Angus Young which has been reduced from £22 to £14.04. There are many Funko Angus Youngs to find out in the wild, but this particular one is inspired by the cover art of the band's classic Powerage album.

In the US, meanwhile, Angus and the rest of the AC/DC gang are available in a single Funko box, complete with stage amps and cannons. Amazon has reduced the price from $160 to $130 and you can grab it right now.

Also in the US, Iron Maiden's mascot Eddie in his Night Of The Dead guise has received the Funko treatment, with the price down from $14.99 to $11.99.

Being a musician, filmmaker and producer to name but a few, there are many strings to Rob Zombie's bow, and he can now add Funko figure to his long list of achievements. His vinyl figure complete with zombie bandana is also on sale at Amazon, reduced from $14.99 to $12.49.

And that's not all, because The White Stripes’ Jack and Meg double pack is also down in price for Prime Day - from $23.99 to $14.02.

Back in the UK, there are plenty more Prime Day Funko discounts to be snaffled, including Ghost’s Papa Emeritus IV - down from from £13 to £9.94, and Guns N' Roses top-hat wearing guitar god Slash in all his Funko glory has been reduced from £13 to £8.90.

Much-loved Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury, wearing his iconic yellow military jacket from the band's 1986 Magic tour is also on sale, with the price cut from £11.90 to £9.52.

And if the hair side of mid-80's metal is more your thing, then this Funko figure of Jon Bon Jovi should be one for the collection. Wearing basically the same outfit as me when I saw Bon Jovi on the New Jersey tour back in the day, you can pick up the singer for £17.30, that's down from the usual price of £22.98.

It was Global Beatles Day yesterday but if you've been waiting for the weekend to unwind and celebrate the Fab Four but aren't sure what to watch, I thought it would be a good idea to collect some of the better documentaries about The Beatles, as available on some of the best TV and film streaming services.

The formative titans of early rock and studio experimentation are simultaneously globally renowned and criminally underrated, an intriguing paradox that only serves to pull you deeper into the music and the mythos of the band that may or may not have been Bigger Than Jesus.

And with Prime Day coming to a close later tonight, there are plenty of last-minute discounts on Beatles vinyl, books and more happening right now. Just remember that Prime Day comes to an end just before midnight.

Paul McCartney: Man On The Run

Much as there is an impossible wealth within the Beatles’ storied career, it’s what happened afterward that often carries the most intrigue. Paul McCartney: Man On The Run is one of the most recent explorations of What Happened After.

The 2025 documentary by Morgan Neville follows McCartney on his journey out from under the shadow of the world’s most famous band. It covers his first solo efforts and the formation of Wings, via heady swathes of archival footage. If McCartney wasn’t your favourite before, this might move the dial a bit.

The Beatles: Get Back

Peter Jackson’s meticulous stitching-together of archival footage from the making of Let It Be – that is, both the album and the documentary film accompanying it – is a metatextual wonder. You are a fly on the wall, but the Beatles know you’re there; it’s hauntingly intimate but also All A Show, as the band play up for cameras in spite of their various and glaringly-apparent internecine struggles.

The Beatles: Get Back is a hugely valuable series, and worth watching for the run-up to the rooftop gig; for the insights into early Apple Studios; or just to see Paul write Get Back in real time. For me, the real definitive moment of the series is Paul and John attempting to have a serious conversation between themselves on a soundstage, before their eyes, and the camera, look up to a boom mic dangled daringly overhead – at which point they immediately switch gears to japery.

The Beatles’ journey was a remarkably short one, being that everything they did they did in just eight years. It’s hard to believe that just five years prior to the bittersweetness of Let It Be, they were on the cusp of breaking America – a journey revisited with careful reverence by this Martin Scorcese-produced documentary.

Beatles ’64 interviews Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney in the present day, amongst a coterie of cultural commentators and people present for the day Beatlemania truly went international.

John Lennon: Love Is All You Need

Over on Netflix, avowed John Lennon fans will find themselves somewhat satisfied by this retrospective on Lennon’s life. John Lennon: Love Is All You Need combines never-before-seen footage with old Lennon interviews, and new interviews with Lennon’s family – including an often unheard-from Cynthia Lennon. The thrust of the doc is nothing new, but the insights within do build a more three-dimensional picture of the Beatles’ most complicated character.

The Beatles: Anthology

Finally, where better to get the whole story about the Beatles than from the Beatles themselves? The Beatles: Anthology is an expansive 1995 documentary series produced by the Beatles’ parent company Apple Corp, that explores the full history of the Beatles from before the beginning to after the end – through the Beatles, in their own words.

The same restoration technology that Peter Jackson used on Get Back was used to spruce up the footage for a new audience, and another episode with new footage of the remaining members’ getting-together to record Free As A Bird and Real Love is a neat epilogue on a definitive history of the Beatles as a project.

Gamers around the world have been drooling with anticipation since it was announced that The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is being remade for the Nintendo Switch 2, with the release date pencilled in for some point this year.

The original game was released for the N64 console back in 1998 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games ever made, and while we patiently wait for further details to emerge, there's plenty for Zelda fans to get excited about this Prime Day, including a price drop on the Lego Great Deku Tree. The recreation of the Ocarina Of Time favourite is down from $520.92 to £459.

Be warned though, Prime Day comes to an end just before midnight tonight (June 26) so if you see something you like, grab it fast!

The Lego Nintendo Deku Tree is made up of 2500 pieces, so it should keep you entertained for a while. Not only that, but this Lego model can be turned into either the Ocarina Of Time version, or the Breath Of The Wild version. It also comes with three Link minifigures and Princess Zelda.

Speaking of Link's first outing on the original Switch console, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild- Creating A Champion book has been reduced from £47.99 to £28, and it's an essential addition to any Zelda fan’s bookshelf. It features 424 pages of sketches, illustrations and commentary related to the award-winning video game.

Speaking of books, The Legend Of Zelda Encyclopedia has also had a price cut – down from £33.50 to £27.01. It's a comprehensive 320-page bible dedicated to the iconic series. And you can even carry a Zelda memento around with you, thanks to the super-cute Korok key-chain which is down from £12.54 to just £9.90.

If you’re exploring Tears Of The Kingdom on your Nintendo Switch, you can light up the Depths with this lovely Heart Container light. It has a Prime Day discount of 20%, with the price chopped from £24.99 to £19.89. It gently pulses when switched on too and is powered by batteries or via the included USB cable.

Back to the US, and gamers who have yet to experience the sprawling Tears Of The Kingdom can now do so with a 25% discount on the Switch 2 edition. Amazon has cut the price from $79.99 down to $59.99.

Stateside gamers can also pick up a digital code for the brilliant and imaginative Echoes Of Wisdom on Switch 1 for $39.99, reduced from $59.88. In the In the UK, you can pick up the cartridge edition for less too - down from £49.99 to £36.99.

While we wait for the Ocarina Of Time remake, you can show your love of the game with 15% off this classic t-shirt. Amazon have cut the price from $19.99 to $16.99 – and it’s available in a variety of colours.

My final pick goes to the Manga collection Twilight Princess Complete Box Set which spans 11 volumes. The Master Sword has been taken to the list price and it's now down from $129.99 to $101.33.

Global Beatles Day takes place on June 25 - a fan-created event that celebrates the anniversary of the first international satellite TV broadcast of The Beatles classic All You Need Is Love, which was beamed to an estimated 400 million people live from Abbey Road Studios back in 1967

And with the Prime Day savings n full swing, it seems only right to highlight some of The Beatles discounts that are available on Amazon right now - including massive savings on the The Beatles: Get Back hardcover book. The 240-page volume has been reduced from $60 to $23.24 in the US, while in the UK, it's down 68% from £40 to just £12.75.

The Beatles may have split up in 1970, but the legendary four-piece seem to be as popular now as they ever were. And with loads of discounts available for Prime Day, I've highlighted some of my other favourite deals below.

If you’re in the US, there's a nice saving on The Beatles: 1967-70 vinyl box set, which has been reduced by 16% from $75.98 to $64.12.

American fans also have access to the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band short-sleeve t-shirt which is down from $22.99 to $18.39 – and if you think you know everything about the George, Paul, John and Ringo, you test your knowledge with the officially licensed Beatles Trivial Pursuit game – down from $21.99 to $17.49. With over 600 themed questions, answering everything is going to take you a very long time indeed.

Across in the UK, you can get your hands on the The Beatles: Yellow Submarine graphic novel which is down in price from £26.99 to £21.99.

The 8CD Beatles Anthology Collection is also on sale for Prime Day, with Amazon taking the price down from £87.32 to £76.02. The collection includes a total of 191 tracks, including live songs and studio outtakes.

My final pick foes to this Abbey Road hoodie which Amazon have cut from £33.99 to £28.78. It's available from sizes S- XXL and you can order it in a variety of colours.

The home hi-fi system has changed a lot over the years, from turntables and radio receivers to cassettes, CDs and wireless streaming – and right back round to turntables again. The vinyl revival’s old news by now, but turntables are still a new addition to many an audio set-up, from baby’s first hi-fis to well-established living-room stacks.

If you’ve been umming and ahhing about adding a turntable to your own setup, you can take a look at our guide to the best Prime Table turntable deals - but if you want something straight off the bat, there's money off both the Sony PS-LX3BT and Sony PS-LX5BT wireless Bluetooth turntables over at Amazon.

The Sony PS-LX series comprises two variants of Bluetooth-enabled automatic turntable. The LX3BT is the cheaper of the two and is a very user-friendly affair, with full auto playback controlled by some slick buttons at the front. It’s a functionally plug-and-play device, with no calibration or counterweighting necessary. Even the moving-magnet cartridge with which it’s equipped is a fully built-in thing, furnished with a warm-sounding replaceable stylus.

The LX3BT is the more expensive of the two but that extra dough buys you a few functional upgrades, a smarter-looking aluminium platter and a better tonearm, replete with a more detailed cartridge/stylus assembly. Both turntables share the same design language, and, more or less, the same essential features – features which make them extremely attractive for newbies to the vinyl revival.

The automatic mechanism is one such feature, as is the built-in phono preamp that makes plugging into existing hi-fi systems a breeze. More important, though, is the Bluetooth connectivity. Both the LX3BT and LX5BT support aptX Adaptive Bluetooth transmission, so you can cast hi-res audio of your records to a Bluetooth receiver of your choosing. It’s nifty stuff, and dynamite for the hybrid hi-fi.

I’ll be the first to admit that Sony’s prices are a little pricey, generally – and that here, the LX series faces stiff competition from a suite of the best budget turntables. But with Amazon Prime Day, Sony gets the upper hand thanks to these lovely deals.

Juggling subscription services isn’t the most enviable of household tasks. It’s necessary one, though, when streaming libraries grow stale, or when prices rise a little too high for your liking. On both sides of the Atlantic, there’s a Prime Day offer for new members to Paramount+’s Amazon Prime add-on service. You get ad-free access to (and in-app downloading of) a whole host of shows from across the Paramount roster, and in the US you get live access to sporting events like the NFL too.

On both sides of the Atlantic, Paramount+’s streamable IPs include Star Trek, South Park, every MTV reality show under the sun and prolific showrunner Taylor Sheridan’s various exports, from Yellowstone and its countless spin-offs to Landman (aka “Yellowstone-but-with-oil-and-Billy-Bob-Thornton-instead”). There’s also a handful of engaging music docs, from Ozzy Osbourne’s swan-song Ozzy: No Escape From Now to Nothin' But A. Good Time: The Uncensored Story of '80s Hair Metal.

In the US, this would normally sting you for $13.99 a month. For Prime Day, the first two months are just 99 cents. In the UK, there’s a similar deal but for a slightly different form of subscription; for Paramount+ Standard in the UK, three months are just £4 (down from £7.99 per month).

Amazon Prime Video is currently running a sale offering up to 50% off movie and TV series purchases - and that includes a load of horror flicks. With Halloween just around the corner, it’s a great time to stock up on films for late night viewing.

Some of the spooky titles on sale include Hellboy II: The Golden Army, 13 Ghosts, Hellraiser, Eight Legged Freaks, The Gift, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, 28 Days Later and Gothika.

Away from horror there’s also the chance to pick up a bargain or two on favourites like Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Twin Peaks, Jurassic World, South Park, Yellowstone, Star Trek, Spider-Man: No Way Home and more.

If you’re based in the US, you have the added benefit of picking up a Qello Concerts subscription for just $1.99 per month for the first two months. If you decide to keep your sub going, it’ll revert back to its usual price of $7.99 per month.

There’s no Prime Day deal for UK music fans, but there is a 7-day free trial available so you can explore the service.

Real music demands real audio gear – and it doesn’t come much more real or authentic than Marshall products. So, when you get a chance to buy some of the company’s iconic speakers and headphones on the cheap, you should seize it with both hands.

So while the last-minute Prime Day music deals continue to roll in, Marshall have muscled in on the action and are holding their Loud For Less sale in the US - and that includes money off the awesome Acton III compact Bluetooth speaker, which is down in price from $299.99 to just $199.99. And that's just one of the products on sale right now.

While the sale isn't currently available in the UK, you can still get a 31% discount on the Acton III on Amazon. It’s down from £259.99 to £179.55 making this a great time pick up this top-performing speaker.

Another speaker going for $100 less than the usual price is the Stanmore III. Delivering superb home-filling audio and a re-engineered stereo soundstage, this Bluetooth bad boy is now a snip at $299.99.

The daddy of the Marshall range, the Woburn III, is another speaker that’s been reduced in this sale. If thundering, immersive sound is your thing, then this beefcake won’t let you down. The discount is slightly less here, with the price dropping from $599.99 to $549.99, but it’s still good!

Prefer something smaller? The portable Emberton II may be diminutive but it still comes at a hefty discount, its usual $179.99 price tag having been slashed to just $99.99. Considering it offers powerful 360-degree sound and more than 30 hours of playtime, that’s a pretty tasty deal.

On to the headphones, and the fabulous Marshall Minor IV in-ears have come down from $159.99 to $99. These were named ‘Best budget buds’ in our Best Marshall headphones guide, offering plenty of bang for your buck. Even more so now!

The highly rated Monitor III A.N.C. over-ear headphones have been reduced from $379.99 to $349.99, which may not seem like a lot, but any discount for these cracking noise-cancelling cans is a bonus – especially as they offer up to 100 hours of playtime.

And last but not least, there’s the Major IV on-ear headphones. Solid as they come, these reliable headphones come with a new ergonomic design and a lovely balanced soundstage – not to mention a price reduction of $40 (down from $139.99 to $99.99).

If you’re a regular Louder reader, you may remember that, back in 2021, I gave the Sony PS-LX310BT turntable a stonking good review, awarding this fully automatic, wireless record player the maximum five stars.

Well, fast forward to 2025 and Amazon has massively reduced the price of that turntable for its Big Deal Days event. Instead of the usual $449.99, you can now get it for just $198 – that’s a discount of 56%.

UK customers don't have such a big discount, but Amazon have reduced the price by 5%, with the record player down from £208.35 to £197.38.

Looking to buy a new turntable? Well, big online retail events are always a good bet for finding great discounts – and Amazon’s latest sale has really come up trumps. There are some amazing Prime Day turntable deals to be had, and frankly this 56% price drop on the Sony PS-LX310BT is the best of the lot.

We’re now into the second and final day of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days and there are still loads of amazing Prime Day music deals to grab. There’s even a nice saving on the Lego C-3PO model which was featured yesterday.

Amazon UK have booted the old price of £734.99 into the trash compactor and it has come out the other side and available now for £550.90.

Sadly, the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy isn’t on sale in the US, but you can get 20% off the 1050-piece Lego R2-D2 kit, with Amazon US taking a blaster to its usual price of $99.99 to $79.99.

So, what other Lego Star Wars kits are available in the final hours of Amazon Big Deal Days?

I’ve already mentioned the Millennium Falcon – one of the most sought-after Lego sets in existence, but if that's already in your collection, Jango Fett’s Starship from Attack Of The Clones is on sale on Amazon US for $59.99 - that's down from $69.99. It's also on sale in the UK, down from £59.99 to £49.99.

On to the land-based vehicles, and I have a real soft spot for the AT-ST Walker - the two-legged terror-monger from the forest of Endor. This 1,513-piece set has dropped in price on Amazon UK from £179.99 to £139.99 – a saving of 22%.

Elsewhere, there’s the Return Of The Jedi Desert Skiff & Sarlaac Pit, a fun set that contains 558 pieces and promises oodles of playtime when constructed. On Amazon US, it's down 30% from $79.99 to $55.99, while in the UK, you can grab one for £56.99 rather than its usual price of £69.99.

This kit also comes with six Lego Star Wars minifigures including Luke, Han, Chewie and Lando. But best of all is the Boba Fett figure which you can flick into the Sarlaac's maw whenever you feel like it!

The Mandalorian on Disney+ (the home to the entire Star Wars galaxy) took us all by surprise when it premiered - especially the popularity of Baby Yoda, aka Grogu.

If you're one of those Star Wars fans whose heart was captured by the wee green child, then there's money off the 1,048-piece Grogu With Hover Pram Lego kit. In the US, Amazon have discounted the kit from $99.99 to $69.99. And UK customers are also taken care of, with the cost reduced 30% from £89.99 to £62.99.

Amazon’s annual Prime Big Deal Days is coming to an end at midnight tonight and there have been a whole bunch of awesome Prime Day music deals over the last two days. And if you're after some new rock and metal t-shirts, there's still time to get one or two - but you're going to have to be quick.

I’ve been sifting through what’s on offer on both Amazon US and Amazon UK and picked out my favourites, including the classic Guns N’ Roses Vintage Cross t-shirt, which is down 20% in the US - reduced from $24.99 to $19.99.

Meanwhile, in the UK, there’s 20% off Black Sabbath’s Sabbath Bloody Sabbath tee - down from £25.99 to £20.29.

Korn fans might be interested in this Swing Set Cover t-shirt, which takes it's inspiration from the band's 1994 debut album. It's down from $25.99 to $20.79.

UK t-shirt deals

Let’s kick off the UK Prime Big Deal Days t-shirt discounts with this AC/DC t-shirt featuring the band’s iconic logo. The distressed design is particularly eye-catching and you can have one in your collection for £20.79 - down from its usual price of £25.99.

And talking of iconic designs, this Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon tee has been reduced by 30%, taking it down from £25 to £17.49.

Def Leppard's classic Hysteria album was a monster hit around the world and still stands up today, so there should be a few people out there who'd like a new t-shirt. This one is down from £25.99 to £20.79.

Time to celebrate all things Blink-182 with this cool-looking neon style t-shirt featuring the band name. It's available in a bunch of colours and you can have it with 20% off - down from £25.99 to £20.79.

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days are coming to an end at midnight and we've seen some awesome Prime Day vinyl deals coming in this week. But if you're a fan of The Boss, then there's an excellent 27% saving on Bruce Springsteen's Tracks II: The Lost Albums box set.

Amazon US have cut the price from $349.98 to $255.99, while in the UK, you can pick up the box set for £237.97 - that's down from its list price of £261.22.

From Born In The USA to Human Touch, Born To Run to Tunnel Of Love, Bruce Springsteen’s biggest hits are recognised the world over. However, not all of the Boss’s work is known, and it turns out that between 1983 and 2018, the American icon recorded seven albums’ worth of material that never saw the light of day. That ‘hidden’ output was finally released earlier this year as Tracks II: The Lost Albums.

At the time, Springsteen described the material as “full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released”. And indeed there is some fascinating stuff on there, ranging from the lo-fi exploration that characterised his 1983 LA Garage sessions, to the drum loop and synthesizer arrangements the Boss experimented with during his Streets Of Philadelphia sessions – and so much more in between.

Complementing the records is a 100-page cloth-bound, hard-cover book containing liner notes for each album plus rare photographs from each recording period. It’s the perfect accompaniment for listening to the music, providing intriguing insight into Springsteen’s creative processes.

All in all, Tracks II: The Lost Albums is an extraordinary collection, and one that any Springsteen fan should own – especially when it’s going for such a discounted price.

Amazon Prime Big Deals Days has returned, bringing with it savings across the board on a whole pile of Lego bricks, but one of my favourite models is the 1138-piece set of everyone’s favourite Star Wars droid, C-3PO.

Amazon UK have slashed the price from £124.99 to £87.99 - a 30% saving, while in the US, you can nab Goldenrod with a 20% discount - down from $139.99 to $111.95.

The last time I saw Threepio in this many parts, was in Bespin’s Cloud City in The Empire Strikes Back, after he was blasted by a trigger-happy stormtrooper. Thankfully Chewbacca was on hand to rebuild him, although I think the Wookie would struggle with this particular kit given the size of his hands (paws?).

Anyway, once complete, Anakin's pet project stands at 15 inches tall and his arms and head can be moved in different poses. The kit also comes with a C-3PO Lego mini figure, stand and plaque celebrating the 25th anniversary of Star Wars.

Just don’t place him near any Jawas, or you might find him missing in the morning. If that’s the case, contact your local sandcrawler.

We're now deep into the fourth and final day of the Prime Day vinyl deals and we’ve been lucky enough to see some excellent discounts over the last few days - but this one is especially nice as it’s a personal favourite.

Amazon have cut the price on Permission To Land… Again by The Darkness by 31% in the US, taking the price down on this sprawling 5LP box set from $99.98 to $68.50.

And fans in the UK needn’t feel left out either because Amazon have another deal that’s definitely Growing On Me - and that’s the same 5LP collection released to mark the landmark album’s 20th anniversary down from £63.68 to £56.97.

This collection features not only the original release but also b-sides, unreleased demos and a whole bunch of live material, too – a total of 48 songs in all.

Back in 2003, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing Justin Hawkins’ distinctive high-pitched vocals, which helped springboard The Darkness into superstardom.

Promo videos from Permission To Land were played constantly on MTV2, my local pub's juke box had it on constant spin, everyone talked about their live shows, and a few years later in Scotland, the weekly football TV show Sportscene even used Love Is Only A Feeling as its intro music.

Twenty years on, the seismic impact of that album was celebrated with the release of a this 5LP box set, Permission To Land… Again.

This collection contains five beautiful slabs of vinyl – one featuring the original album in its entirety, the rest made up of flip sides, unreleased demos, a load of scintillating live tracks and more. The live tracks in question are taken from the band’s legendary 2003 concerts at the London Astoria and Knebworth (where they supported Robbie Williams).

Each of the records is contained within its own picture sleeve, with the five LPs being packaged up in a protective hardshell box. Oh, and you also get a colour booklet featuring the lyrics to some of The Darkness’s iconic songs, meaning you can sing along to your heart’s content.

There's 20% off the Rolling Stones Official Script Tongue t-shirt, with the price also down from $24.99 to $19.99, while the official Slipknot Gray Chapter t-shirt is also down from $24.99 to $19.99.

Back across to the UK and some of the highlights include The Clash London Calling t-shirt, down 20%, taking the price from £21 to £16.79.

My next pick goes to this Def Leppard Hysteria t-shirt - down from £21.99 to £17.59. One of my co-workers says he bought one similar when he saw the band in Edinburgh in 1988 - although this one will definitely be a bit brighter and in better condition.

Guns N' Roses' Greatest Hits double vinyl album is down 15% this Prime Day, with the price reduced from £37.99 to £32.29. It's a cracking selection of tracks including Welcome To The Jungle, Patience, You Could Be Mine and November Rain. And there’s no room for simple sides A, B, C and D - no, the sides on the vinyl are labeled G, N, F’N, R. Nice!

A number of AC/DC albums were previously reissued on gold vinyl to mark the band's 50th anniversary, and Amazon are selling the limited edition Highway To Hell album with 15% off - it’s down from £32.49 to £27.62. A nice slice of vinyl to add to the collection.

Going back to the days when Sammy Hagar led Van Halen and their record Live In Dallas 1991. It’s down 25% from £28.79 to £21.59. Along with tracks like Poundcake, Why Can’t This Be Love, Best Of Both Worlds and Finish What Ya Started, what make this release interesting is that side 4 of the vinyl features the Van Halen logo which is etched on to the disc.

Testament's Brotherhood Of The Snake on 2LP venomous green vinyl is also on sale this Prime Day, with the price squeezed from £31.99 to £23.99 - a saving of 25%.

And talking of green vinyl, Gojira's L’enfant Sauvage on 2LP Forest Green vinyl also has a nice discount - it's down from £38.23 to £29.74. I thought they were excellent at the final Black Sabbath concert and if that was your introduction to the band, then this is a neat pick-up.

My final pick goes to this 27% saving on the double blue vinyl pressing of King Diamond’s 1998 album Voodoo, with Amazon casting some Louisiana Darkness on the price, taking it down from £23.77 to £17.26.

At lunchtime today, I put aside my bow, removed my weather-stained Elven cloak, took off my fake pointy ears and chewed some Lembas while I perused the Prime Day Lego deals - and I found something that made me sit up faster than a Hobbit in a kitchen full of mushrooms.

That’s because I saw Amazon UK had reduced the price of the dark and brooding Lego Lord Of The Rings Barad-dûr model - taking a rusty cleaver to the price and cutting it from £399.99 down to £339.98 - a 15% saving.

I’ve seen this 5471-piece model fully built and it really is something a bit special.

This is one of the most striking Lego Lord Of The Rings sets around thanks to a huge amount of detail packed into its five floors of obsidian darkness.

Yes, the Eye Of Sauron is present and correct, but there’s so much more including a kitchen for the Orcs to cook fallen Riders Of Rohan, a prison to torture nasty Hobbistses, a forge to craft ghastly weapons (and a room to store them in) and a room complete with the all-seeing Palantír.

But that’s not all, there are swinging skeleton cages, a library, hidden secrets and a brick that’s used to open and close the hideous main gate.

Once the model is complete, it stands at an impressive 83cm/32.5 inches tall and it can be rotated to show front details. It even comes with batteries which activate the glowing Eye Of Sauron, which can be swivelled to strike fear into the hearts of the good races of Middle Earth should they get too close.

The kit also comes with 10 Lego mini figures including Frodo and Sam, Gollum, orcs, the Mouth Of Sauron, and of course, Sauron himself.

I’m a strong supporter of (investor in?) the vinyl revolution. My growing collection is much loved and played hard; I have a mix of brand new records and second-hand gems, which range from ‘charming crackle’ to ‘unplayable’. I have one particular well-worn copy of The Police’s 1981 album Ghost in the Machine that’s seen better days. Let’s call it a challenging listen. But it was cheap! The skip starts just as the first chorus kicks in and it’s impossible to get beyond without lifting the needle.

This is just one example of a few criminally uncared for records in my collection. I’ve done some trawling of this year’s Prime Day vinyl deals and I came across this absolutely huge ultrasonic vinyl cleaning gadget, complete with auto-drying function. Even with the $100 Prime Day discount, it’s still $499. And it looks like a bread maker.

I’m sure it would breathe so much new life into my record collection, but imagine how much wax you could buy for that…

So, I figured until I decide to sell a kidney, I’m going to look for a cheaper solution. The good news is that Prime Day has plenty of affordable options. These three will do exactly what I need and none of them cost more than 20 bucks:

It's day 2 of Amazon Prime Day and we've already seen a massive pile of Prime Day Lego deals building since the sale launched earlier this week. One of the standouts for me is a chunky 24% saving on the enchanting Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle model, with Amazon casting the Diffindo charm to cut the price down from £409.99 to £309.98. That's a huge £101.01 saving (the penny is important) on one of Lego's most popular Harry Potter sets.

There are loads of Lego deals to explore at Amazon for Prime Day, including Star Wars sets, mega Technics builds, Marvel, Mario Bros, Zelda, Lord of the Rings and more.

As you’d expect with a 6,020-piece kit, the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle is jam-packed full of details including the Great Hall which comes with buildable ‘stained glass windows’, tables, benches, torches and house banners, while there’s also moving staircases, the Chamber Of Secrets with mini Basilisk, towers, classrooms, turrets and more. If you're a big HP, this is an absolute dream build.

There’s also room for Hagrid’s hut with a small Aragog the spider, buildable pumpkins, and the Whomping Willow tree with a model of the Weasley’s Flying Ford Anglia car. As I was travelling through a galaxy not too far away in search of the best Prime Day Lego deals, my R2 unit alerted me to an excellent deal that'll be a winner no matter if your part of the Rebel Alliance or a fully paid-up, card-carrying member of the Galactic Empire, because Amazon has taken an ION cannon to the price of the Lego Star Wars TIE Fighter and X-Wing set and blasted 29% off the usual price - taking it down from £94.99 to £66.99.

This means you'll have two of the most famous starships in movie history to build, with the kit coming with a bunch of other neat touches.

If you had to choose between owning a Lego TIE Fighter and a Lego X-Wing, which would you go for? Actually, scrap that thought as there’s no decision to make here. With Lego kit number 75393, you get both!

You know what this means, of course – if you find a willing partner, you can conduct your own Death Star trench run over your coffee table - or you could take a more sober approach and display them with all your other Star Wars goodies!

Of course, you’ll have to put it all together first. With 1,063 pieces in total, you’ll have oodles of fun constructing these two famous ships and watching them slowly become the iconic machines we know and love.

Each of the ships has an opening cockpit, ready for you to put one of the five included Lego minifigures in. And each one also features spring-loaded shooters, enabling you to attack your enemy at will. There were more than a few tears at Birmingham’s Villa Park last weekend when Black Sabbath brought the curtain down on their incredible career with a full day of epic performances from rock and metal royalty.

As someone who didn't make the concert, I've been looking to soothe my soul with some Prime Day music deals, trying to unearth some Black Sabbath merch bargains - and I found that Amazon had me covered.

There are loads of items in the sale in both the US and UK, ranging from t-shirts and tank tops to long-sleeved shirts and hoodies. And you can choose from a variety of designs, too, with everything from the band’s logo to iconic album artwork among the options.

You can check my finds below, so hopefully you'll see something that rocks your world.

Let's kick things off on Amazon US, who have 20% off the official Black Sabbath pullover hoodie featuring that famous purple logo - down from $49.99 to $39.99.

My next US pick goes to the Symptom Of The Universe t-shirt which shows the lads on the front and the band logo on white material, with the design presented in distressed maroon. It's also down 20%, from $24.99 to $19.99.

My third find on Amazon US is the Sabbath's American 1978 t-shirt which has a design inspired by the cover of the band's album of the same year, Never Say Die! It's also down from $24.99 to $19.99.

Across the Atlantic and back in Sabbath's UK homeland, there are more great deals to be found - including this retro Black Sabbath Sketch Band t-shirt, with Amazon knocking the price down 20% from £21.99 to £17.59. It's from the band's '78 world tour and you can choose the material cover to suit your mood, although the slate and black version is my favourite option.

This long-sleeve Vol. 4 t-shirt is my next pick and it's as classic as you'll get, with the design taken directly from the cover of the record sleeve. It's down from £25.99 to £20.79 for Prime Day.

For my final pick, I'm taking you away from Amazon and dropping you at the door of EMP, who have the "Purple Wavy Logo" lilac pin badge for just £7.99 - down 27%.

Legendary rock amp brand Marshall has launched Loud For Less - a rival Prime Day sale on some of its most sought-after Bluetooth speakers, wireless earbuds and headphones in both the US and UK.

In the US, prices start from $69.99, with the Major IV headphone down from their regular price of $139.99. We praised these on-ears for their brilliant battery and bass delivery, saying their performance was "well above their price point."

In the UK, prices on the Marshall website kick-off at £79, with the Willen II Speaker down to £79 (was £99). I think this is a great Prime Day music deal for anyone shopping for a simple Bluetooth speaker to soundtrack days at the beach or park this summer.

There are plenty of other bargains in the Marshall Loud For Less sale on both sides of the Atlantic, and I’ve combed through all the latest deals to find the best alternative Prime Day picks.

Do you have annoying neighbours who always blast naff music in their garden? Me too. Drown them out with the Acton III, a ‘pair and play’ Bluetooth speaker built to pump out room (or garden)-filling sound. Right now the Acton III is down to $199.99 from £299.99 at Marshall, with free shipping within five days. Meanwhile, in the UK, the same speaker is down from £259.99 to £199.99.

Want a portable speaker that excels at bass? Opt for the Kilburn II, with 360-degree sound, manual buttons for tweaking the bass, treble and volume (you can tinker in the app too), and 20+ hours of playback per charge. The Kilburn II Speaker is down to £149 from £239.99 – that’s the cheapest I’ve seen it sell for in months.

While the Kilburn II isn't on sale in the US, the equally portable Willen II certainly is - down from $129.99 down to $99.99 in both its Black & Brass and Cream colour variations.

Looking for new headphones instead? The Marshall Monitor III ANC have dropped in price from $379.99 down to $349.99, while they're also discounted in the UK, down from £299.99 down to £249.99.

And if your still on a high from seeing artists from across the rock and metal world pay tribute to Ozzy, you can get yourself this Ozzy Dark Angel Portrait t-shirt for $19.92 - that's down from $24.90.

If you love having a large collection of hard rock and metal tees but you hate shopping for them, you’re in luck as I've picked out even more discounted t-shirts in the Hot Topic sale.

Let's kick off with this $7.20 Within Temptation t-shirt. It's cheaper than an ice cold fancy frappuccino right now, there’s never been a better time to upgrade your summer wardrobe with a box fresh tee or two.

One of our fave picks from the sale is this Sleep Token Even In Acardia Ten Crests shirt for $19 (was $24.95), exclusive to Hot Topic. It’s made from 100% cotton – the perfect material for battling sweaty summer armpits – and is available in all sizes except XS.

Looking for a pop of color? Try this vibrant blue Ghost Seven Inches of Satanic Panic cotton tee, now down to $19.92 (was $24.90) at Hot Topic. Three sizes have already sold out on this one, so move fast if you fancy it.

There’s no end date listed for the Hot Topics metal merch sale but with some t-shirts already going out of stock we’d advise shopping sooner rather than later to avoid missing out on some killer summer tees for less.

The Amazon Prime Day music deals are in full swing and while looking for some new music documentaries to watch, I found out that Paramount Plus are holding a summer sale all of their own, with money off subscription plans in both the US and UK.

In the US you can get two months of Paramount Plus for 0.99 cents per month, while in the UK, you can save 50% on monthly plans for 3 months, or on an annual plan.

This is great news because not only does Paramount Plus stream a whole bunch of classic movies, TV favourites and is home to all things Star Trek-shaped, but there’s hour upon hour of music docs, live sets and more to get stuck into.

Want some instant recommendations? Top of my list is Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bass Players Human Too?, which sees the Rush vocalist, bassist and keyboardist visit and chat to some of the world's best-loved bassists: Robert Trujillo, Les Claypool, Melissa Auf Der Maur and Krist Novoselic.

Nothin’ But A Good Time is an eye-opening three-part series about 80s hair metal in the US and it'll be a real blast from the past for people like myself who found their musical feet in that particular decade.

Lolla: The Story Of Lollapalooza is also here - another three-part series, this time examining how what was originally planned to be a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction, turned into one of the biggest music festivals in the world.

There’s also two full seasons of the celebrated Behind The Music series - a run of documentaries that chronciles the careers of some of the biggest names in music, including Motley Crue, Bret Michaels, Wolfgang Van Halen, Bob Marley, Alanis Morisette, Ice T.

Finally, there’s How Music Got Free, an exploration of how Napster, LimeWire and "internet pirates who nearly destroyed the music industry".

These are just some of the highlights, but there’s so much more - and don't forget, Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now is due to hit Paramount Plus later this year.

In the US, the usual price for a Paramount Plus Essential plan is $7.99/month, Premium at $12.99/month, while there's also an annual plan from $59.99.

In the UK, Basic (with ads) costs £4.99/month, Standard is £7.99/month, and Premium for £10.99/month.

These prices will apply should you carry on your subscription after the deals expire.

While scouring the Prime Day vinyl deals, I stumbled across the 2LP edition of Pink Floyd At Pompeii - MCMLXXII which has been discounted by 15% for Amazon Prime Day.

This is the Steven Wilson remastered version and it’s been reduced from £37.99 to £32.29 making it a nice pick-up if you’ve yet to grab it.

Earlier this year, Pink Floyd At Pompeii - MCMLXXII received a new lease of life when it was remastered in 4K from the original 35mm tapes by Lana Topham and remixed by Steven Wilson before it was released for a limited run in cinemas.

It was recorded over several days in 1971 amidst the ruins of the Pompeii amphitheatre with only a camera and recording crew onsite to capture the magic - and what transpired was one of the most iconic and atmospheric live performances in rock history.

In its review, Classic Rock said: “Crucially, as a document of four hungry musicians working in common cause and without later bells, whistles and recriminations, this stands as Pink Floyd’s best live album.”

Considering the other live albums the band released, that’s quite a statement but one that stands up when you take in tracks, including Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, One Of These Days and Echoes - Part 2.

If you’re hitting every gig going this summer, you’ll need protection. And by that I mean a reliable pair of earplugs designed to handle live music.

As for gigging musicians in the US, I recommend the Alpine MusicSafe Pro Earplugs which are down from $29.99 at Amazon to just $23.99 for Prime Day.

UK-based musicians needn't feel left out either, because the Alpines are also on sale through Amazon UK - down from £21.75 to £18.48.

This special Dire Straits box set features the original Brothers In Arms album, with the remaining discs comprising previously unreleased live recordings from the band’s 1985 concert at San Antonio’s Municipal Auditorium. If you love a bit of Mark Knopfler and co, and you have a record player, then this anniversary set promises to be an absolute treat. Altogether now – “I want my MTV…”

It’s hard to truly define the sound of this Baltimore quintet – some call them hardcore punk, others label them as alternative rock. But however you prefer to describe them, one thing’s for sure – their music is loaded with punchy, dreamy goodness.

Turnstile aren’t exactly new to the music scene – they were formed way back in 2010 – but they’re definitely getting their moment in the sun right now.

Just weeks after the release of their new album Never Enough they turned in one of the most memorable performances at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, rocking the Other Stage to its very foundations on the Sunday.

The Prime Day Lego deals have been particularly banging so far this year, matching and sometimes surpassing the ones we saw during the first Prime Day event back in July. The Lego deals are really strong at Amazon UK where there’s been a huge range of discounts up to 35% on Star Wars sets, Harry Potter kits, Technics and loads more. But, for me, the most exciting discounts are happening over at Zavvi on the limited edition Lego Icons series from hit movies including Ghostbusters, Home Alone and Back To The Future.

If Lego is on your Christmas wishlist, today might be the day to drop some hints at home.

As a child of the ‘90s and a proud Lego fan in my forties, I was giddier than Doc Brown hitting 88mph when Lego released a range of Icons sets that truly encapsulated my childhood, down to the last detail. I was finally able to build Ecto-1 car from Ghostbusters, the boobytrap-laden house from Home Alone and my favourite, the DeLorean from Back To The Future. I'm still crossing my fingers for a Goonies galleon set at some point. 

Each of these sets currently has a rare discount in the Zavvi Flash Deals sale. The discounts aren’t huge, but then these items are rarely on sale, so I’ll take any money off at this point.

I received the Back To The Future DeLorean set for my birthday last year and took great joy in building up the BTTF 2 version (the kit includes the bricks to dress up your time machine to look like movies 1 and 3, too), and now it takes pride of place in my home. The attention to detail is spot on, with everything from the flip-up wheels hover conversion, to the Mr Fusion unit at the rear of the time machine, plus a hoverboard and box of plutonium in the boot. At 1,856 pieces, I had loads of fun getting stuck into the build project.

It's the second and final day of Amazon's Big Deal Days sales event, with the online shopping giant shredding cash from a whole heap of music-related products, which you can find on our Prime Day music deals hub page.

Here's a selection of cut-price t-shirt deals I found that caught my eye. I'll kick things off with this AC/DC Rock’n’Roll Damnation t-shirt, featuring the classic band logo and a silhouette of Angus Young doing his thing onstage. It’s down 30% from £19.99 to £13.99 and it’s available in a range of colours.

There are several Black Sabbath designs available on Amazon, but I particularly like the official World Tour ’77. It features the band’s official mascot Henry, the falling angel, and it’s down from £21.99 to £17.59.

The Guns N’ Roses t-shirt featuring the famous skull cross is also on sale to mark Prime Big Deal Days - and it’s down 20% from £21.99 to £17.59 and available in a handful of colours.

If you love a bit of Queen, then there's 20% off the official A Kind Of Magic t-shirt featuring the band in their iconic cartoon guise from the smash-hit 1986 album. You can grab one for £17.59 - down from its original price of £21.99.

My final pick goes to the Pink Floyd The Dark Side of The Moon prism circle logo t-shirt, down 30% from £19.99 to just £13.99. Like some other t-shirts I’ve mentioned, you can also get it in a variety of colour options.

The Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are here and that means there’s loads of cut-price stuff to get excited about - and that includes some amazing deals on CD and vinyl on both sides of the Atlantic.

I’ve picked out 10 eye-catching deals covering the worlds of rock, metal and prog that I think you should pick up. I’ll start with a handful of UK releases before I move on to what’s on sale in the US from Amazon.

First up is an album I bought way back in the mists of time from Glasgow’s fondly remembered 23rd Precinct record store: Guns N’ Roses blistering debut Appetite For Destruction. Amazon have knocked 25% off the 2CD deluxe edition, taking it down from £15.99 to £11.99. Along with those 12 famous album tracks, this collection also includes the 1986 Sound City Sessions, alongside songs including Move To The City and Mama Kin.

Iron Maiden played a huge part in getting me into music when I was a long-haired hooligan in the 80s, so it’s great to see the price of the Silver & Black Marble edition of Senjutsu reduced by 21% - taking it down from £23.69 to £18.65. This is an Amazon exclusive, so well worth picking up for the ol’ vinyl collection.

Another band that were hugely influential to me were Canadian prog gods Rush - and I still listen to them pretty much all the time. I’ve been waiting for a price drop on the 40th anniversary edition of Signals, and Amazon have obliged by shredding 29% off the price so rather than pay £139.92 for it, I can grab it for £111.98. It’s positively stuffed full of all things Rush and spans a total of seven discs.

When I started working for Louder (or TeamRock as it was 10 years ago) Slipknot were on the cusp of releasing .5: The Gray Chapter. TeamRock Radio played The Negative One and The Devil In I constantly and they wormed their way into my brain as a result. If you need to fill a Slipknot-shaped hole in your record collection, Amazon have cut the price of the pink vinyl, 2LP edition from £29.99 to £20.43.

Finally in the UK is Ghost’s 2018 studio album Prequelle, which Amazon have reduced from £26.58 to £22.59. Sure, it’s not a massive discount, but excellent production coupled with tracks like Rats and Dance Macabre are sure to get your Halloween party up and running.

It's time to move over to the US, where Amazon have also decided to shred dollars off the price of vinyl, and we'll start with Metallica's Ride The Lightning album on Electric Blue vinyl - down from $48 to $41. This, along with a bunch of other Metallica albums on coloured vinyl, was once a Walmart exclusive, but they're all now much more widely available.

And speaking of blue vinyl, you can currently get 12% off The Beatles 1967-1970 collection. This 3LP set has been reduced from $79.98 to $69.99. It’s pressed on 180g vinyl and features classics including Strawberry Fields Forever, All You Need Is Love, Hello Goodbye and Hey Jude.

Another compilation album that might be of interest is Led Zeppelin’s Mothership. This 4LP edition is down by a whopping 32% - from $99.98 to $67.99 and is a great place to start your Led Zeppelin journey.

Two more classic artists round up my list - and the first is another Amazon exclusive, this time Bruce Springsteen’s Best Of on double red vinyl. It’s down from $42.98 to $34.70. It includes 18 tracks and there’s space for Born To Run, Thunder Road, The Ghost Of Tom Joad, and one of my favourites, early Springsteen song Growin’ Up.

Finally, there’s space for The Rolling Stones Singles: 1966-1971. Yes, it’s another compilation, but this one features a total of 18x7-inch singles. There’s 20% off over on Amazon, with the price down from $179.98 to $157.24.

I've only just sat down with my feet up and a mug of coffee and a few biscuits to relax after thinking that Prime Day was over. It is officially, but I've just discovered that several deals are still live, so I've sifted through some of my favourites and highlighted them below.

However, this comes with a warning as these knockdown prices won't be around forever and there's no indication when they might come to an end. So if you see something here that tickles your fancy, then dive in straight away to avoid full-price disappointment.

There's only a few hours of Amazon Prime Day left, with the two-day online summer sales event wrapping up just before midnight tonight - so before the deal doors slam shut, the Louder team have picked some of their favourite music-related books that are on sale for Prime Day.

The first discount to catch our eye was a 21% saving on the first entry in Mark Lewisohn’s extensive history of The Beatles titled All These Years: Volume One: Tune In. Amazon have cut the price on the 960-page hardcover from £40 to £31.43 - a bit of a steal given the amount of work Lewisohn ploughed into researching and writing this behemoth. If you're in the US, the paperback version is down from $24 to $18.42 at Amazon.

Speaking of The Beatles, our next Prime Day pick goes to Paul McCartney’s 2003 book The Lyrics: 1956 To The Present which Amazon have reduced from £22 to £16.99. In the book, he goes into detail about the lyrics and history about a total of 161 songs - and there’s even space for more than 100 images from the former Beatle’s personal archives, along with handwritten texts and more.

For something of a change of pace, next up we have Motley Crue’s notorious autobiography The Dirt, which is down from £20 to just £8.23. Many of you will have seen the Netflix doc from a few years ago, but if you’ve not delved into the source material, now’s your chance.

We head stateside for our next Prime Day discount and this one is a 52% price reduction on Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book Of Bass which Amazon have reduced from $90 to $43.29. Even if you don’t like Rush, this is still a must-have thanks to the beautiful photography and the detailed history of the bass guitar. 

If you prefer audiobooks, or enjoy listening while doing household chores, this Prime Day you can get three months of Audible for free if you sign up before July 31.

This gives you access to thousands of audiobooks and Amazon Originals - and that means you can listen to Judas Priest legend Rob Halford narrate his books Confess and Biblical: Rob Halford’s Heavy Metal Scriptures, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson read through his autobiography What Does This Button Do? or kick back and listen to Rush’s Geddy Lee reading his brilliant memoir My Effin’ Life. Ans that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Funko found a new fanbase when they started producing their Pop! Rocks range of vinyl figures back in 2011 - a neat sidestep from their pop-culture collectables. But not content with what they already had, the American company expanded into the Funko Pop! Albums range in 2020.

The difference here is that each box contains a replica album cover, sometimes a vinyl stand, and every so often, you get more than one Pop! vinyl figure in the package.

Collecting them all is an almost impossible task, but there have been some hard-rocking figures released since launch. And with Amazon Prime Day in full swing, I've rounded up some of my favourites from the Funko Pop! Albums range that are on sale for Prime Day in both the US and UK.

I’ve been keeping my eyes on all the latest Prime Day vinyl deals and have unearthed 9 unmissable bargains that’ll get your record collection off to the best possible start - or fill in a few gaps on your already groaning shelves.

If you’re in the US, you can get your paws on the deluxe box set of the Pink Floyd Animals 2018 remix for half price! Rather than pay the usual $103.98, you can get it for a new low Prime Day price of $52.03.

It’s packed with content including the LP on 180g heavyweight vinyl, a CD, DVD and Blu-ray; a 32-page booklet, a variety of mixes and the original 1977 stereo mix.

And if you’re in the UK, you can pick up a copy of Ghost’s spellbinding Impera album on maroon vinyl with 26% off - down from £33.36 to £24.77.

I first saw Jane’s Addiction in concert back in 1991 and it’s fair to say I was blown away. Sadly, I’ve not seen them since then, but I can at least partially relive the excitement with Alive At Twenty-Five: Ritual De Lo Habitual Live. This slice of vinyl contains classics including Been Caught Stealing, Mountain Song, Just Because and Ted, Just Admit It and it’s on sale at Amazon with 34% off the asking price - down from $49.98 to $33.03. As if that wasn’t enough, this version is presented on double purple and green splatter coloured vinyl.

Next up we have the 4LP version of Van Halen Live: Right Here, Right Now, which is down from $99.98 to $75.56 at Amazon - a saving of 24%. First released in 1993, it captures the band on top of their game during the Sammy Hagar era and is jam-packed full of classic tracks. It was recorded over two nights at the Selland Arena in Fresno, California in May 1992 and was Van Halen’s first live album release.

Back across to the UK now and Amazon have reduced the price of the picture disc of Iron Maiden's Somewhere Back In Time from £40.35 to £33.64.

This compilation captures the band’s highlights between 1980 -1989 has a total of 15 songs including Wasted Years, Can I Play With Madness and Powerslave. This era of the band takes me right back to 1986 when I saw Maiden for the first time in Edinburgh. It was my first-ever concert after buying Somewhere In Time and that is still my favourite Maiden album after all these years.

While Prime Day is an Amazon event, that hasn't stopped other online retailers from cutting prices to give us top deals. So here's one that will either stir foggy memories from the late 80s/early 90s or introduce you to a band that are very close to my heart - Jesus Jones.

Townsend Music have reduced the price of the double, 140g vinyl pressing of Zeroes And Ones from £29 to £17.50. It’s a brilliant collection that brings together some of Jesus Jones’ best-loved tracks including Right Here, Right Now, Trust Me, Info Freako, International Bright Young Thing, Never Enough, Real, Real, Real and a personal favourite: Get A Good Thing. Go for it!

Amazon Prime Day is hitting its stride on both sides of the Atlantic - and we’re delighted to see plenty of head-spinning Prime Day turntable deals steaming in - including this particular 5-star Sony record player discount in both the US and UK.

The Bluetooth-enabled Sony PS-LX310BT holds the no.1 position in our guide to the best Bluetooth turntables and the price is down from $249.99/£239 to $178/£189 on Amazon right now, making this a Prime Day deal not to miss.

So why do we rate the Sony PS-LX310BT Bluetooth turntable so highly? The first thing is that it’s straightforward and fuss-free to set up straight out of the box - and that, along with the turntable being fully automatic, makes it a great choice for those just starting out on their vinyl journey.

The Prime Day vinyl deals have started to come through and there are some amazing savings for music fans happening right now - including a stack of Metallica records on coloured vinyl which have had their prices slashed to mark Amazon Prime Day.

I’ve marked out the list of albums on sale below, but to jump in the fire straight off the bat, there’s 15% off the ‘Black Album’ by Metallica, with the limited edition 2LP edition pressed on ‘Some Blacker Marbled’ vinyl down from £46.78 to £39.75.

These limited edition album collections were originally available exclusively in North America, with Metallica deciding to drip feed them to the UK market between November 2023 and March 2024.

Amazon Prime Day will be with us in a matter of hours, with the big online sales event set to kick-off on July 16 & 17 - two days of discounts that’ll bring us loads of excellent Prime Day vinyl deals.

But if you’re a Rush fan and want to an amazing bargain right now, then you’re in luck because the 40th anniversary, super deluxe edition of Signals is on sale at Amazon, down from $229.98 to $123 - a 47% saving of over $100.

Signals was originally released in 1982 and was the band's follow-up to the hugely successful Moving Pictures the previous year and helped further move Rush's sound into the 80s.

Rush's ninth studio album includes classics Subdivisions, The Analog Kid, the majestic Losing It and Countdown - and my personal favourite The Weapon, which features one of my all-time favourite Alex Lifeson guitar solos.

This 40th anniversary super deluxe version is stuffed full of amazing content making it a must-have for all Rush fans. To kick things off, the vinyl was cut at half-speed and pressed on 180g vinyl and the package also has four 7-inch singles: Subdivisions / Red Barchetta (Live); Countdown / New World Man; New World Man / Vital Signs (Live) and New World Man (Single Edit) / Digital Man.

The box set also features a Blu-ray which has Signals in Dolby Atmos & 5.1 surround which was mixed by Richard Chycki and the 2015 48kHz 24-bit stereo remaster. It also contains new animated visualizers, alongside the music videos for Subdivisions and Countdown. 

While that's it for the music, there's even more content in the shape of a 40-page hardcover book with illustrations and previously unreleased pics from the Signals tour, lenticular prints of Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart, and four Signals tour band lithos.

The package also has an alternative Hugh Syme cover and a double-sided poster featuring the 40th anniversary artwork, backed by an outtake photo from the original album cover shoot.

This year's Prime Day music deals might still be a day away yet, but that hasn't stopped a few sweet bargains slipping through the net early.
